An eagle-eyed Garda's observation led officers to more than they bargained for when they stopped this car.
Members of the Roads Policing Unit initially spotted the driver of the car not wearing his seatbelt, prompting gardaí to pull them in.
Once stopped, gardaí discovered a litany of offences.
Gardaí found that the driver did not have a driving licence or insurance, and the car did not have an NCT or tax.
The car was subsequently seized with court proceedings to follow for the driver.
In a post on Facebook, An Garda Síochána said: "Our Roads Policing Unit in Dundalk spotted the driver of this car without their seatbelt while driving through the town centre.
"When they pulled him in they discovered that he had no driving licence or insurance and the car had no tax or valid NCT.
"The car was seized and prosecution will follow," the post concluded.
