The Write Start is a beginner drama writing programme led by Conor McGinnity, An Táin Arts Centre’s Inaugural Writer in Residence.
Over eight weeks, some of the topics we’ll dive into include: getting your ideas on paper, the hero’s journey, their dramatic arc, our One Word Want and not just the three act, but the five act structure!
With small class sizes, one on one development and a constant source of support on tap, The Write Start is what you need to nail that idea down.

Course starts on Wednesday the 5th of March 2025, runs for eight weeks on Wednesday’s from 7-9pm at Bó Studios, Jocelyn Street, Dundalk. Please bring notetaking materials.
