The Ardee St Patrick's Day parade in Louth has been announced along with the announcement of key sponsors and the parade Grand Marshal.
The parade will begin at 3:00pm on March 17 2025.
Best St Patrick's Day Window Display competition is in full swing once again as a "time honoured tradition dating back many decades."
"Each year a lot of local businesses make incredible efforts with their St Patrick's Day window display and each year the best window is recognised by being presented with an award. Keep an eye out over the next few days as businesses prepare to go green for St Patrick's Day."
Many local businesses in Ardee have sponsored this year's parade, including The Railway Bar Ardee, The Irish Harp Ardee & Brian Muldoon's Ardee, and a main sponsor Ardee Credit Union.
The honour of being Grand Marshal is bestowed to someone who goes above and beyond for the community and is a way of recognising their efforts and thanking them for what they have done for their community.
This year it has been announced that the Grand Marshal is Mr John Caffrey.
Although John is best known for his family run business in Ardee, Caffrey's Home Bakery and Coffee Shop , many also know that for years John has consistently given his time and effort to benefit the community around him, for example setting up an annual golf competition in Ardee which has raised thousands for Ardee Hospice over the years.
He also has ensured that every Christmas, Santa makes it to Ardee to meet the local children and switch on the lights, which has become the official beginning of Christmas in Ardee.

"Any town or village in Ireland would be lucky to have someone like John quietly working away in the background for his community. So we think it's time to honour John for his efforts and thank him not just for his lovely bread and cakes but for all he has done over the decades for Ardee. People like John are the heartbeat of a community," a Facebook post said.
