Another message said, "Gerry, Karen, Stephen, Alan, Gerard, Declan, Anthony and Ruairi I am saddened to hear the news of your beautiful wife and mum. You have all the lovely memories of you all growing up to treasure. We started playing badminton many moons ago in the community centre and created great friendships because of it. That I will treasure and reminisce. Rest peacefully Margo."
Another tribute said, "So sorry to hear of the passing of Margo. Heartfelt sympathy to her husband, Gerard, her daughter Karen & her sons. Margo was a brilliant badminton player and delighted with myself, which was rare, when I put a shot past her. She had a wonderful personality & will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She had an amazing strength of character and bore her illness with great dignity. Sympathy also to her sister-in-law Meta.
FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS:
Removal on Thursday morning from her residence to St. Fursey’s Church Haggardstown, arriving for Mass at 11.30am. Private cremation afterwards.
