VIDEO: Throwback to dance event by Woman's Aid in Dundalk in 2020
This year, a dance event is hosted by Woman's Aid in Dundalk to fight against gender-based violence, as part of the One Billion Rising campaign.
The campaign can be found here, and says that one billion woman experience violence against them at least once in their lives.
The campaign said that one in three women across the planet will be beaten or raped during her lifetime.
Woman's aid has put together another event to raise awareness and bring woman together on this very serious issue, which will take place on Wednesday March 19th 2025, at 10am.
Everyone is welcome.
