Status Yellow rain warning issued for Louth as heavy showers expected

The warning also applies to Dublin, Meath, Wexford, and Wicklow

Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow rain warning for County Louth, in effect from 9:00pm this evening (Tuesday, April 15) until 2:00pm on Wednesday, April 16.

The warning also applies to Dublin, Meath, Wexford, and Wicklow, with forecasters predicting heavy and persistent rain that may lead to spot flooding in some areas.

According to the national forecaster, rain will become heavy at times and persistent, increasing the risk of spot flooding, especially in low-lying or poorly drained areas.
