Kristyn Fontanella
An Táin Arts Centre said they are delighted to announce a unique off-site dance performance that will take place on Market Square, Dundalk, on May 11th at 2pm as part of the nationwide Bealtaine Festival, celebrating arts and creativity as we age.
Tracing the footsteps of the traveling dance masters of Ireland, Kristyn Fontanella transits through parks and fields. She is migratory, as the masters before her. To her, the land is a journey.
She arrives at a gathering of people to exchange, listen and learn stories and steps of the past, intimately connecting with the audience and land.
Before the performance, Kristyn will lead a dance workshop for older people from 11am to 1pm at An Táin Arts Centre, where you are invited to gather, move, and connect through the shared language of dance.
