The death has occurred of Helen O'Connell (née McElroy) Dublin Road, Haggardstown, Louth

Helen O’Connell née Mc Elroy, Dublin Road, Haggardstown, Dundalk, died peacefully, in the company of family in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital on Monday 16th June, 2025. Helen much loved wife of the late Paddy, dear mother of Éamonn, Ciarán and Dónal and dear grandmother of Ciara, Odhrán Sibéal, Karen, Bríain, Kilian and Laurence and sister of Eugene, Ann, Patricia (Pat) and the late Ronan and Noel. Helen will be sadly missed by her sons, grandchildren, daughters-in-law Gráinne, Catherine and Manuela, brother, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and a large circle of dear friends.

Helen will repose at McGeoughs Funeral Home, Jocelyn Street, (A91XW66) from 3pm until 7pm on Thursday. Removal on Friday afternoon from her home to St. Fursey’s Church, Haggardstown, arriving for Mass at 2pm followed by Private Cremation.

The death has occurred of Doreen LARKIN (née Mooney) Cluan Enda, Dundalk, Louth

Who passed away peacefully on Tuesday 17th June 2025 in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her mother Annie Mooney (née Gray), her twin brother Donal, Raymond and Pat. Doreen will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her sons Padraig (Paudie) and Ciarán, her partner Peter Murphy, her adored grandchildren Sophie, Abbie and Alex, sister Jacqueline, brother Michael (Micklo), brother-in-law Ownie Woods, sister-in-law Breda, her dear cousin Louise, nephews, nieces, extended family relatives and all her wonderful neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her home in Cluan Enda on Wednesday from 12noon to 8pm. Removal on Thursday morning at 10.30am proceeding on foot to St. Joseph's Redemptorist Church arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Dundalk.

The death has occurred of Barry CASSIDY 24 Chapel View, Louth Village, Louth

Unexpectedly, at home. Predeceased by his father Joseph. He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Grace, mother Josephine, sister Davina, brothers Kevin and Ronan, brother-in-law Gavin, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing at his home, 24 Chapel View, Louth Village (A91 T882) on Thursday, June 19th from 2pm-8pm. Removal on Friday, June 20th at 11am to St. Mary’s Church, Lordship (A91 HP76), arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Committal at Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan (H12 RF78) at 3.45pm.
