Creative Spark have confirmed that Sarah Daly and Oscar Díaz from Creative Spark will be making significant contributions to Creative Skills Week 2025, engaging across three sessions dedicated to advancing skills development within the cultural and creative sectors.

On Wednesday 24 September, Sarah and Oscar will participate in the CYANOTYPES Training—a practical, forward-thinking workshop designed for educators, curriculum designers, policy-makers, and cultural intermediaries involved in co-creating future competences for the cultural and creative industries (CCIs). Through innovative peer-matching and scenario co-design, attendees will tackle real-world challenges informed by the cutting-edge CYANOTYPES Framework.

The following day, Thursday 25 September, Sarah and Oscar will co-produce the Parallel Session titled Transformational Entrepreneurial Skills. This thought-provoking forum invites participants to rethink entrepreneurial education in light of the rapidly evolving demands of the creative economy. Drawing on their expertise in non-formal learning, youth entrepreneurship, and skills development, they will guide discussions on how to cultivate the transformational capabilities that empower creatives to not only adapt but to lead and innovate.

On Friday 26 September, Oscar Díaz will lead the Trainer’s Sandbox: Design, Test, and Upgrade Training Skills for CCIs—an interactive online session tailored for trainers, hub managers, and creative professionals involved in developing training programmes for the sector. Anchored in micro-credential design principles, this workshop will enable participants to design and prototype innovative training modules, test and refine their concepts using a flexible framework, ensure quality through effective assessment, and collaborate with peers to enhance their learning models.

These contributions form an integral part of the wider Creative Skills Week 2025 programme, which convenes forward-thinking innovators and practitioners from across Europe to collectively shape the future of skills and training in the creative industries.
