May they rest in peace

The death has occurred of Briege Agnew (née Stokes) of Dundalk Road, Castlebellingham, Co Louth

Suddenly but peacefully in her 72nd year. Briege, loving mother of Bernadette, Martin, Jackie and Andrew. Pre-deceased by her parents Madge and Jack, sister Mary Reaburn and brother Jackie McGeeney. Sadly missed by her daughter, sons, son-in-law Adrian, daughters-in-law Shaunna and Emma, grandchildren Isaac, Bea, Oisín and Alice, brother-in-law Oliver, nephews, Gerard, Eamonn, Brendan, Cathal and Mark and niece Tracey, grand nephews, grand nieces, cousins, neighbours, wide circle of friends and her adored dog Buffy.

Reposing at her home on Thursday 4 September from 2pm to 8pm. Removal on Friday morning 5 September, to St. Mary’s Church Kilsaran, arriving for funeral mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. House private Friday morning please. Family flowers only.

The death has occurred of Pat Martin of Loreto, Tierney St., Ardee, Co Louth

On 2 September 2025, peacefully at St. Oliver's Nursing Home, Dundalk. Predeceased by his wife Peggie and his brothers and sisters. Sadly missed by his loving family, his son Gerard, daughter Anne-Marie, son-in-law Brian, grandchildren Gráinne, Conor, Ciarán and his fiancé Lauren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his residence at Tierney St on Thursday from 2.00 pm until removal at 6.30 pm to the Church of the Nativity of Our Lady, Ardee arriving for Funeral Prayers at 7.00 pm. Funeral Mass on Friday morning at 10.00 am. Burial afterwards in Ballapousta Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Declan (Decky) Lynch of Dunleer, Louth

The death has occurred, in his 67th year, of Declan (Decky) Lynch, late of Keaigs Cross, Richardstown, Dromin, peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at Moorehall Lodge, Ardee. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Margaret, brothers Gussie, Willie, Benny, Noel, Dickie, Dermot and Joe, his sister-in-law Patricia and brother-in-law Dessie. Deeply regretted by his sisters Peggy (Carroll) and Verona (Faulkner), brother-in-law Paddy, sister-in-law Rose, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Connor’s Funeral Home, Dunleer on Thursday from 4.30pm until 8pm. Removal on Friday morning to Saint Finian’s Church, Dromin arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Stabannon Cemetery.
