May they rest in peace

The death has occurred of James Brennan of The Laurels, Dundalk, Co Louth 

Peacefully, in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda on Saturday 20 September 2025. James, son of the late Kevin and Lillie, beloved husband of the late Rita née Crawley, dear father of Raymond and Vivienne, loving granda of Laura and Joe, brother of Pat, Margaret, Fintan, Mary and the late Aidan. James will be sadly missed by his son, daughter, grandchildren, son-in-law Jackie, daughter-in-law Dawn, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his home from 2pm to 8pm on Monday. Removal on Tuesday morning at 11am, walking to St Nicholas Church, arriving for Mass at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in St Patrick's Cemetery. All enquiries to Oisin and Rosemary Rogers, McGeoughs Funerals, Jocelyn Street, Dundalk 042 9334283.

The death has occurred of Stephen Olanrewaju Alabi of Tom Bellew Avenue, Dundalk, Co Louth

Passed away in Northwick Park Hospital in London on September 10th, following a short illness, surrounded by his wife, Adeola, and his three children Dami, Phoebe and Nathan, who all miss him dearly. Son of Florence Oluwafunmilayo Alabi and the late Joseph Bankole Alabi, Stephen will be sadly missed by many friends, neighbours, former colleagues, and, most of all, his loving family, both in Ireland and Nigeria.

Reposing in the Eternity Room of Quinn's Funeral Homes, Dundalk on Thursday 25 September from 11am, with Funeral Ceremony at 1.30pm. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Enquires to Quinn's Funeral Homes on 042 9334521​​​​​.

The death has occurred of Gwendolyn Marks Naas, Co. Kildare and formerly of Cooley, Co Louth

On 20 September 2025, after a short illness, surrounded by her loving family, Gwendolyn, beloved partner of Tim and dear mother of Timmy; Pre-deceased by her baby sister Christina; Sadly missed by her loving partner, son, father Tom, mother Bernie, brothers Tommie and Joseph, sister Bryna, Timmy’s brother Richard and sister Áine, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing on Tuesday from 5pm to 7pm at Murphy Brothers Funeral Home, Church Lane, Naas. Removal on Wednesday to St. Brigid’s Church, The Curragh arriving for 11am Mass. Funeral immediately afterwards to Newlands Cross Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to The Irish Cancer Society. House private please.
