The death has occurred of Joe Goss of 47 Ashbrook, Avenue Road, Dundalk, Co Louth

Peacefully, in the dedicated care of the staff of Louth County Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Ellen. He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing wife Breda, sons and daughter Joseph, Tania, Eamonn and Declan, daughter-in-law Lisa, son-in-law David, Declan’s partner Khrystyna, grandchildren Sam, Ryan, Kai, Connor, Caolan and Lucy, twin sister Vera and sister Marian, brother-in-law Patsy, his nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Reposing at his home from 3pm-8pm on Tuesday 30 September. Removal on Wednesday 1 October to St. Patrick’s Cathedral, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Enquiries to Quinn’s Funeral Homes on 042 9334521.

Peacefully, at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Joan and brothers John and Patrick. He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Tina, son Stephen, daughter Sarah, grandchildren Lacey, Thomas and Lyle, daughter-in-law Nicole, son-in-law Thomas, sisters and brothers Kathleen, Thomas, Noel, Anne and Jacqueline, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

The death has occurred of Sam Hanks of Blackwater Court, Dundalk, Co Louth

Peacefully, in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday 28 September 2025. Sam, son of the late Jim and Kitty (Hill Street) much loved husband of Pauline née Carroll dear father of Sandra, Jim Paul and Donal loving grandad of Ria, Noah, Ben and the late William and brother of Dessie and the late Mairead, brother-in-law of the late Myra. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughter, grandchildren, son-in-law Derek, daughters-in-law Ciara and Rachel, brother, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his home from 3pm until 8pm on Tuesday. Removal on Wednesday morning to St. Josephs Redemptorist Church, arriving for Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery. All enquiries to Oisin and Rosemary Rogers, McGeoughs Funerals, Jocelyn Street, 0429334283.

Peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his beloved wife Bridie and his infant son David ,his parents James and Josephine, brothers Micheál, Cathal and Tom sisters Ann and Eithne. Forever loved and missed by his heartbroken family, son Paul daughters Gillian and Breda, daughter in law Jackie, sons in law David and Ollie, his adored grandchildren Shane, Lauren, Brian, Dylan, Aaron, Paul and Jessica and his cherished great grandsons Rowan and Hunter, his brothers Stephen, Finton and Martin, brother and sisters in law Gerry, Ann, Martina and Ursula, family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at his son Paul's home Ardpatrick Louth Village, from 12pm to 8pm Tuesday 30 September. Removal from his residence 10 Feran Drive at 10.45am for Funeral mass at 11am Wednesday 1st October in Church of the Immaculate Conception, Louth Village. Burial afterwards in the adjoining church graveyard.

The death has occurred of Joe McArdle of Greyacre Road, Dundalk and Linenhall Street, Dundalk, Co Louth 

Peacefully, at home surrounded by his family, on Monday 29 September 2025. Joe, son of the late Daniel and Mairead, much loved husband of Sheila née Reilly, dear father of Niall, Sinead and Maurice and loving grandad of Lauryn and Kaleb and brother of Marie, Roisin, Dympna, Deirdre and the late Eileen and Margaret. He will be sadly missed by his wife, sons, daughter, grandchildren, daughter-in-law Nadine, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, and many friends

Reposing at his home from 2pm until 8pm on Tuesday and Wednesday Removal on Thursday morning to St. Brigid's Church, Kilcurry arriving for Mass at 11.o’Clock. Burial afterwards in adjoining Cemetery. All enquiries to Oisin and Rosemary Rogers, McGeoughs Funerals Jocelyn Street Dundalk 042 9334283.

The death has occurred of Eileen Mary McLean (née Filgate) of Lisrenny Lodge, Tallanstown, Co Louth

In her 95th year, peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Eileen, beloved wife of the late Eric and loving mother of Siobhán and Penelope. Predeceased by her brothers Clive and Richard and sister Sarah. Sadly missed by her daughters, sons-in-law Patrick and Nigel, grandchildren Thady, Merlin, Hamish, Declan and Lily, her great-grandchildren Saffron, Hugo, Rafael, Elodie and Laira, numerous nephews and nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reception Prayers on Wednesday evening, 1st October, in Saint John the Baptist Church of Ireland, Dunany, Togher at 6.30pm. Funeral Service on Thursday morning at 11am followed by a private burial.

The death has occurred of Teresa Tuite (née McKeown) of 102 Dúiche Roden, Dundalk, Co Louth

Suddenly but peacefully in her 68th year. Teresa, loving mother of Kevin, Sean, Niamh and Stacey. Predeceased by her brother Sean and parents Seamus and Cissy. Sadly missed by her sons, daughters, sons-in-law Stephen and Darren, daughter-in-law Aoife and Seans partner Brigit , grandchildren, brothers Barry, Brian, Shay and sister Elizabeth, extended family, neighbours and friends.

In his 85th year, peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at Moorehall Lodge, Ardee, surrounded by his family. Vincie, beloved husband of Bridie (née Murphy). Predeceased by his parents Joe and Mary, brothers Ollie, Jim, Paddy and Luke, sisters-in-law Anna and Anne and nephews Joe and Shay. Deeply regretted by his wife, brothers Tony and Noel, brother-in-law Liam, sisters-in-law Eileen, Nan, Maureen and Bridie, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Connor’s Funeral Home, Dunleer on Tuesday from 4pm until 8pm. Removal on Wednesday to Saint Brigid's Church, Dunleer, arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Port Cemetery. House private please.
