The average price of a three-bedroom semi-detached house in Louth  in the third quarter of 2025 was €322,000, up 1.3% on a year ago.

Housing prices nationally rose by an average of 0.8% during the third quarter of 2025, according to the latest Daft.ie House Price Report.

In Louth, the median price of a newly built home in the year to June was €385,000.

Additionally, the typical price, per square metre, of a three-bedroom semi-detached house in Louth was €3,078.

Nationally, the average price of a three-bed semi-detached home in the third quarter was just over €421,000. Listed prices are now, on average, 5.9% higher than a year ago, 39% above their pre-covid levels and just 10% below their Celtic Tiger peak.

While prices were on average almost 6% higher than a year ago nationally, there were some important differences, with the lowest inflation seen – once again – in Dublin, where prices were 4.5% up year-on-year.

Price increases in Munster (+5% annually) and across the four other major cities (+5.8% on average) were also below the national average, which was dragged up by substantially larger increases in Leinster (outside Dublin; +7.2% annually) and Connacht-Ulster (outside Galway; +8.7% on average).

Inflation has eased compared to the start of the year but remains well above inflation in the wider economy.
