Evan, Mark and Louise O'Connor
The funeral arrangements have been announced for a Louth family who passed away in tragic circumstances.
Mark O'Connor (54), Louise Doherty O'Connor (56) and their son Evan O'Connor (27) were found dead at their home in the Drumgowna area on Monday, September 29.
Mark was well-known for his love of running and was a cherished member of the local running club North East Runners Dundalk, while passionately working for disability advocacy through his career.
Louise was known by all as kind and spent many years working as a nurse while also volunteering in the community and being a valued member of the Ardee Local Vocals singing group.
Evan was cherished by all who knew him in the community during his time at ABACUS School and the Praxis Hub Network in Drogheda.
They will repose in the Eternity Room of Quinn’s Funeral Homes, Dundalk (A91 KW52, entrance on Castletown Road) from 2pm to 9pm on Monday, October 6.

Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, October 7 in St. Patrick’s Cathedral (A91 T623) at 11am. Private cremations will follow.
Mark, Louise and Evan are survived by Cian and Robert. They are also dearly missed by Cian's fiancé Shauna and her family, the O'Connor and Doherty families and many friends.
Those in attendance at the O’Connor family’s funeral, are requested to wear odd socks in honour of one of Evan's individualistic traits.
In lieu of sending flowers, the family have requested that donations be made to The Hub Praxis Care in Drogheda and Drogheda ABACUS School, reflecting Mark and Louise's care and generosity to others and the inspiration to many that Evan had become in his short but full life.
A donation can be made by following this link to a dedicated fundraising page: https://gofund.me/66e272ef3. May they rest in peace.
