This week's Dundalk democrat is in shops now, featuring: 

  • Detective Garda Adrian Donohoe and Garda Tony Golden, members of An Garda Síochána who lost their lives in the line of duty, were remembered at a special ceremony last Friday at the official opening of a Garden of Reflection in their honour at Dundalk Garda Station.
  • The Dundalk Athletics Track will not be completed this year due to technical requirements of the synthetic surface installation, and its installation will now be scheduled for 2026.
  • Hundreds of people gathered last Wednesday night for a candlelit vigil to remember members of the O'Connor family who were murdered in their home.
