Louth Volunteer Centre is calling on the community to nominate volunteer leaders for the Louth Volunteer Leader Awards 2025.

This is the chance to celebrate the unsung heroes in our community — those who dedicate their spare time, creativity, compassion and energy into guiding initiatives across the county.

"Their talent for working under pressure while supporting volunteers from all walks of life is nothing short of remarkable and greatly appreciated, a spokesperson for the Louth Volunteer Centre said.

"Our communities wouldn’t be the same without them. That’s why it’s so important that we recognise their hard work and tireless dedication to keeping the Irish spirit of volunteering burning bright.

"We are grateful to the Department of Rural and Community Development, whose support has made it possible to host this awards night and commemorate the leadership within Louth’s vibrant volunteering community.
