The death has occurred of Eleanor Wehrly (née McArdle) of Jenkinstown, Dundalk, Co Louth

Formerly Trend Fashions, 58 Park Street, Dundalk. Died peacefully in St. James’s Hospital, Dublin on 11 October 2025, after a long illness, bravely borne. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Suzanne, son-in-law Daniel Kane, cherished grandson Alby, sisters Breda, Bernadette and Deirdre, brother Gerard, her aunt Teresa McEnteggart, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by her beloved husband Pat, parents John and Rose McArdle (Carrickastuck) and sister Margo Ó’Míocháin.

The death has occurred of Maria Toner (née Quigley) of St. Clements Park, Point Road, Dundalk, Co Louth

Peacefully in the exceptional care of the staff in St. James Hospital, Dublin on Saturday 11 October 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents Paddy and Mary, brother Paddy and sister Maura Crosby. Beloved and devoted wife and best friend of Frank. Cherished and loving mam of Tina, Fra, Mark, Gavin, Colin, Lisa and Sean.

Maria will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love by her husband, sons, daughters, adored and very much loved grandchildren Shauna, Katie, Molly, Emma, Shane, Alex, Evan, Ben, Niamh, Cormac, Max, Roz, Meg, Francis, Christopher, Finley and baby Éabha, sons-in-law Shane and Olan, daughters-in-law Emily, Vicki, Jolene, Ciara, and Niamh and Cormac’s mam Audrey, brothers Gerry and Clement, sisters Noeleen and Geraldine, brothers and sisters-in-law, her dear and close friend Claire, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, and all of her wonderful neighbours and friends.

The death has occurred of David Neacy of Balbriggan, Co. Dublin and late of Skerries, Co Dublin and Dundalk, Co Louth

On 11 October 2025, peacefully at Beaumont Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Son of the late Paddy and Cassie, brother of the late Gerard, Brendan and Caroline, father-in-law of the late Busty.

Sadly missed by his loving and devoted partner Monica, children Emily, Daniel, Siobháin and Aoife and their mother Fiona and their partners, adored eight grandchildren Oisín, Aaron, Jasper, Noah, Ozzie, Mylo, Berri and Marnie, sisters Anne and Lorraine, nieces, nephews, relatives, extended family and a large circle of friends.

The death has occurred of John Gorman of Drumboat, Inniskeen, Monaghan, / Inniskeen, Co Louth and and formerly Corbollis, Ardee, Co Louth

Unexpectedly but peacefully at home on Sunday 12 October 2025. Predeceased by his parents Patsy and Olive. Dearly loved and will be greatly missed by his wife Marie (née Shevlin), sisters Irene Gonnelly and Debbie O’Neill, uncles Peter, Tony and Gene, auntie Maura, brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family relatives, and all his wonderful neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his home, Drumboat on Monday and Tuesday from 2pm to 9pm. Removal on Wednesday morning at 10.30am to The Church of Mary Mother of Mercy, Inniskeen arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 o'clock followed by burial afterwards in St. Mary's Cemetery. House private Wednesday morning.
