The death has occurred of Jim Carroll of Rathcor, Riverstown, Cooley, Co Louth
Peacefully, in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday 19 October 2025 after being lovingly cared for by the staff of Carlingford Nursing Home. Jim, much loved husband of Florence née Callan dear father of Rachel, Justin, Steven, Niall, Denise and Philip loving grandad of Bláthnaid, James, Christopher, Freya and Hanna, brother of Bernard and the late Peter, John, Nicholas, Leo, Patsy and Margaret.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters, grandchildren, brother, sons-in-law John and James, daughters-in-law Helena and Lynn, Philip’s partner Lisa, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Mc Geoughs Funeral Home, Jocelyn Street from 5pm until 7pm on Tuesday. Removal on Wednesday morning to St. James Church, Grange arriving for Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in adjoining Cemetery. House strictly private. All enquiries to Oisin and Rosemary Rogers, McGeoughs Funerals, Jocelyn Street.
