The death has occurred of Clare Clarke (née Culleton) of Belfry Crescent, Dundalk, Co Louth

Peacefully, in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda on Sunday 2 November 2025. Sadly missed by her loving son Paul, Paul’s dad Paddy, her sisters Mary McVerry and Carmel Nulty, her brother Joseph, her brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing in the Eternity Room of Quinn’s Funeral Homes, Dundalk on Wednesday 5 November, from 2pm-8pm. Removal on Thursday to St Joseph's Redemptorist Church, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Fursey’s Cemetery, Haggardstown. Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu to Palliative Care Services, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. The death has occurred of Hugh Duff of Pleasure Hill, Monasterboice, Co. Louth and formerly of Hoarstown, Louth Village, Co Louth

Unexpectedly in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital on Sunday 2 November 2025. Hugh, adored son of the late James and Bridget, dear brother of John and Anne and the late Patrick. He will be sadly missed by his sister, brother, cousins and all the Residents and staff in Pleasure Hill and of St John of Gods Day Service.

Reposing at McGeoughs Funeral Home 4pm to 7pm on Wednesday. Funeral Mass on Thursday morning at 11am in The Church of The Immaculate Conception, Louth Village. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. All enquires to Oisin and Rosemary Rogers, McGeoughs Funerals.

The death has occurred of Paddy (Patrick) McConnon of Stonetown, Co Louth & formerly Monaghan Street & Corcrin, Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan

On 2 November 2025, in his 92nd year, peacefully, surrounded by his cherished family, at our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Predeceased by his beloved wife Philomena, his parents Joseph & Rose and his brothers and sisters; Jim, Maida, Margaret, Rosh, Elizabeth & most recently Joe. Sadly missed and remembered with love by his heartbroken family; his daughters Fionnuala (Steve Francis) and Martina (Brian Duffy), his adored grandchildren; Conor, Gráinne, Holly & Lauren, his extended family, friends & neighbours.

Reposing at Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home, Carrickmacross, on Tuesday 4 November, from 4pm until 8pm. Funeral cortège will leave his home, Stonetown, on Wednesday  November, driving to Farney Street and from there proceeding on foot to St Joseph's Church, Carrickmacross, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest alongside his beloved wife Philomena. House strictly private. No flowers please, donations in lieu, if desired to Palliative Care, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.

The death has occurred of Joan McFadden (née Roddy) of St Patrick's Terrace, Dundalk, Co Louth

Peacefully, in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital on Sunday 2 November 2025. Joan, beloved wife of the late Luke, stepmother of Dessie and Gerry and sister of the late May, Peggy, Nancy, Tommy, Paddy and Seamus. She will be sadly missed by her stepsons, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at McGeoughs Funeral Home, Jocelyn St., from 3pm until 7pm on Tuesday. Removal on Wednesday morning to St. Patrick's Cathedral, arriving for Mass at 11am, followed by private cremation. All enquiries to Oisin and Rosemary Rogers, McGeoughs Funerals, Jocelyn Street.

The death has occurred of Prof David Robinson of Newtown, Knockbridge, Co Louth formerly of Waterside, Derry

On Saturday 1 November 2025 in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents David and Elizabeth. Dearly loved husband of Lorna (née Ahearn) and beloved father of Charles and Natasha. David will be deeply missed and forever remembered with love by his wife, son, daughter, daughter-in-law Louise, brothers Maurice [Scotland] and Ken [South Africa], brother-in-law Noel, sisters-in-law Gloria and Berna, Irene and Yvonne, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and many friends near and far.

Reposing at Shevlin's Funeral Home, Barrack Street [A91Y3CX] on Tuesday from 4pm to 8pm and on Wednesday from 12noon with removal at 2pm to St. Mary's Church, Knockbridge [A91EV56] arriving for Funeral Service at 2.30pm followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
