Response praised after lorry overturns on busy Louth road

The overturned lorry on the N33

Louth County Council has extended its thanks to members of its Operations team and the Louth County Fire Service following a cleanup operation on the N33 link road outside Ardee on Wednesday afternoon.

The response followed the overturning of a lorry that led to significant debris on the route.

Emergency and council crews worked quickly to clear the scene and make the road safe for motorists.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident, and the N33 has since fully reopened to traffic.

The council acknowledged the swift and coordinated effort of all involved in restoring normal conditions.
