Dundalk Chamber of Commerce has launched a magical North Pole Safairi Trail to celebrate ten years of their Shop Local Vouchers with €1,000 in Shop Local Vouchers as the main prize.

Speaking on the launch of the trail, Dundalk Chamber CEO John McGahon said: “We wanted to do something special to acknowledge of ten-year anniversary of Shop Local vouchers which ensure so much money stays in our local economy every year.

"We decided on the idea of a Christmas trail where people are encouraged to visit ten participating stores in Dundalk, scan the QR code that is on the trail poster in the shop windows."

The adventure is split into two themed routes:

  • The Workshop Route – Step inside Santa’s bustling workshop to meet the elves who make Christmas happen.
  • The Winterwood Route – Wander through snowy forests to discover the magical creatures of the North Pole.

The ten participating stores are: Rocksalt - Earl Street; McGuinness Pharmacy - Park Street; Ruby Nu - Park Street; Goldstar Jewellers - Demense; Dundalk Tourist Office- Market Square; Mankind - Clanbrassil Street; Roe River Books - Clanbrassil Street; Eddie Maguires - Church Street; Conlons Food Hall - Church Street; McEvoy’s - Clanbrassil Street.
