A breezy but mostly dry night with some clear spells at first. However, more persistent cloud will spread eastwards across the country through the night, with a band of rain reaching the west coast by morning.
Lowest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees, with moderate to fresh southerly winds strengthening through the night.
