The death has occurred of Giedrius Staras Castleross, Dundalk, Louth

Late of Lithuania. Suddenly at home surrounded by his family. Loving husband of Kristina (Virginija) and cherished father of Tadas. Giedrius will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife, son, extended family and friends in Lithuania and Ireland.

 There will be a gathering of family and friends in Dixons Funeral Home, Maxwell Row, Bridge Street, Dundalk (Eircode A91PV07) on Thursday afternoon between 4 o’clock & 8 o’clock. Followed by a private cremation.

A memorial service will take place in Lithuania in the coming days.

The death has occurred of David (Dave) MACKIN Springfield Manor and Mackin's Leathergoods, Clanbrassil Street, Dundalk, Louth

Peacefully, in the dedicated care of the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Beloved husband of Brigid (Hoey), dad of Kelly, son of Benny and the late Lourda, Gaga of Freddie, Felix and Florence and brother of Ciarán, Caroline and the late Niamh. He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing wife, daughter, father, grandchildren, brother, sister, Kelly’s fiancé Conall, Ciarán's wife Pauline, Caroline's husband Tommy, brothers-in-law, nephews and nieces Hayley, Elizabeth, James, Issy and Fenn, extended family and friends.

Reposing at his parent’s home (A91 V2K2) from 3pm-8pm on both Thursday and Friday, December 11th and 12th.

FAMILY HOMES PRIVATE AT ALL OTHER TIMES, PLEASE

Removal on Saturday, December 13th at 12.30pm to St. Joseph’s Redemptorist Church (A91 WY98), arriving for Funeral Mass at 1pm. Burial afterwards in Kilcurry Cemetery (A91 RP73).

The death has occurred of Michael Hughes Dunleer, Louth

The death has occurred, in his 85th year, of Michael Hughes, Greenlanes, Dromin, peacefully after a short illness at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, surrounded by his family. Michael, beloved husband of Ann (née Markey) and loving father of Lorraine, Paula, John and Emma. Deeply regretted by his wife, son, daughters, son-in-law Colin, grandchildren Megan, Abbie, Matthew and Luke, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Connor’s Funeral Home, Dunleer (A92 V38H) on Thursday from 2pm until 8pm. Removal on Friday to Saint Finian’s Church, Dromin arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Messages of sympathy may be left in the Condolence section below.
