BOYLE Sports Celebrates the Best of Louth

BOYLE Sports has praised local companies in Louth after shining a spotlight on businesses right on the doorstep of their Dundalk headquarters.

Local business played a huge role in the BOYLE Sports events calendar in 2025, from Home Bakery in Dundalk, who kept festivities sweet with cakes and buns delivered straight to events, to Merci Beaucoup in Ardee who provided delicious macaroons for a major staff event at Bellurgan House in July.

The BOYLE Sports summer bash at Bellurgan celebrated several other local producers, including Blasta from Monaghan, Muchgrange Ice Cream, Firebox Pizza, Lily Finnegan’s Bar and A91, proving there’s no shortage of amazing flavours nearby. The Enemies Band provided entertainment on the day, ensuring the dancefloor was never empty.

A91 catered a number of other office events throughout the year, from a Culture and Diversity Picnic to a Christmas lunch for over 200 colleagues, which was hosted under a stretch tent delivered by JJ from Complex Events.

The Brasserie and Strandfield became go-to spots this year for lunch meetings, sandwiches, quiches, salads and baked goods, while colleagues travelling from afar enjoyed convenient and comfortable stays in the likes of Fairways, Gateway and the Ballymascalon.

Staff events and talks came alive thanks to Conor Moran, who provided sound and screen setups, while Rock Salt’s coffee mornings and Mullens’ Friday fish and chips always proved a hit with staff.

The Wee County’s rich offering of experiences played a part too with team events at Carlingford Adventure Centre, cookery sessions and intimate dinners at Ghan House, and oyster farm tours offering a hands-on taste of local life.

Cathrina Cassidy, who plays a key role in organising events at BOYLE Sports, said: “Louth is full of talent, flavour and experiences waiting to be explored and it’s great to see so many local businesses woven into our events calendar throughout the year.

"We encourage other companies to support these businesses going forward and avail of the fantastic offerings on our own doorstep, helping to boost the local economy.”
