The Hare's Corner Biodiversity Initiative open to Louth landowners for first time
Louth County Council have announce that the Hare's Corner Biodiversity Initiative will be open to Louth households for the first time.
The initiative, created by the Burrenbeo trust, offers free practical advice and support to landowners who want to protect biodiversity and increase climate resilience.
The Hare's Corner supports the creation of wildlife ponds, mini-woodlands, heritage, or "bespoke plans for nature" on private land, farms, schools and community spaces.
Helen Hanratty, Biodiversity Officer with Louth County Council, said this is a "fantastic opportunity for anyone in Louth who wants to make space for nature".
