The death has occurred of Deirdre McArdle Clinton of Donaghmore, Kilkerley, Dundalk, Co Louth
Peacefully, in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital on Sunday 28 December 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents Daniel and Mairead, brother Joe, and sisters Eileen Nugent and Margaret Wright. Deirdre will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her beloved husband Pat, daughter Michelle, son Gerald, daughter-in-law Sharon McAleenan, son-in-law Jerome Kiyemba, and by Pat's sons, Jim, John and Niall, her adored grandchildren Aoife, Niamh, Rhakim and Ailbhe, sisters Marie Chapple, Roisin Foy and Dympna Kiernan, brothers-in-law Michael and Ciaran, sister-in-law Sheila, nephews, nieces, extended family relatives, and wonderful friends and neighbours.
Reposing at her home, Síbhruíon, Donaghmore, Kilkerley, on Tuesday from 2pm to 8pm. Removal on Wednesday morning [New Years Eve] at 10.40am driving to The Church of Immaculate Conception, Kilkerley, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 o'clock followed by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Co. Cavan. No flowers please, donations if desired to Focus Ireland. Enquiries to Shevlin’s Funeral Home.

The death has occurred of Madge Hoey (née McGee) of Louth Hall, Tallanstown and formerly of Muff, Louth Village, Co Louth
Peacefully, in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, surrounded by her loving, family on Monday 29 December 2025. Madge beloved wife of the late Matt (Nov 2018), dear sister of Anne, Betty, James and Paddy. She will be sadly missed by her brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at her home on Wednesday from 2pm until 8pm. Removal on Thursday morning, to St. Peter and Paul’s Church Tallanstown, arriving for Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Louth Cemetery. All enquires to Oisin and Rosemary Rogers, McGeoughs Funerals.
