May they rest in peace

The death has occurred of Patsy (Pat) Campbell of Dulargy, Ravensdale, Co Louth and formerly of Ardboe, Co Tyrone

Peacefully, on Wednesday 31 December 2025 after a long illness at Carlingford Nursing Home. Predeceased by his parents Pat and Norah and brother Geordie. Patsy will be deeply missed by his loving wife Mary (nee O’Donnell), children Anne (Laurence Naylor), Norah (Cormac Deane), Maura (Gerard Murphy), George (Emer Gilligan), Sarah (Adam Jobling) and Neil (Toni King); grandchildren Cillian and Connla Naylor, Mobhi and Anu Deane, Liam and Sarah Murphy, Senan, Sadhbh and Barra Campbell, Oisín and Meadhbh Jobling, and Maya King; sister Maura McKee, and a wide circle of family and friends in Louth and Tyrone.

Reposing at his home Dulargy, Ravensdale, on both Friday and Saturday from 12noon to 7pm. Removal on Sunday afternoon at 1.40pm on foot to St. Mary’s Church, Ravensdale, arriving for Funeral Mass at 2pm. Burial afterwards in Calvary Cemetery.House private Sunday morning please. Enquiries to Shevlin’s Funeral Home.

The death has occurred of Barbara Faulkner (née Maher) of 25 Road 2, Muirhevnamor, Dundalk, Co Louth

At Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, surrounded by her loving family. Barbara, beloved twin sister of Ann (Larkin) and devoted and loving mother of Norma Jean, Bonnie, Patrick, Mandy, Patricia and Carly. Predeceased by her parents Pat and Florrie, brothers Patrick and Philip, sister Agnes and her husband Eamonn.

Sadly missed by her daughters, son, brothers Richard, Noel and Paul, sisters Theresa, Paula and Margaret, her aunt Marie, grandchildren Kerri, Sorcha, Connor, Alisha, Aoife, Vanessa, Sadhbh, Jessica, Jamie, Dominic, Sofia, Isabelle, Layla and Freddie, sons-in-law, family partners, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends

Reposing at her home on Friday from 4pm until 8pm. Removal on Saturday morning to Saint Mary’s Church, Kilsaran, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Monica Singh (née McArdle) of Kentville, Nova Scotia, Canada and formerly of Fatima Court, Dundalk, Co Louth

Peacefully, in Nova Scotia on 26 December 2025. Beloved wife of Dr. Jaspal Singh, dear mother of Tara, Karuna and Oisín, mother-in-law of Ben, Brent and Jill and devoted Nanny of Malachi, Melvina, Declan and Aelish.

She will be sadly missed and always remembered by her husband, children and their partners, grandchildren, sisters Margaret, Geraldine, Dympna and Pamela, brothers Canon John and Paul, brothers-in-law Eric, Liam, Gerard and Paul, sisters-in-law Sinead and Cathrine, her nieces and nephews and a wide circle of friends. Monica was predeceased by her parents Johnny and Margaret McArdle and her siblings Peter and Rita (both in infancy), Betty, Jim and Ann.

Funeral arrangements later.
