The death has occurred of Seán Crosson of Balbriggan, Co Dublin / Dundalk, Co Louth

Of Crosson Motor Group, peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Breda and loving father of Aoife and Muireann. Seán will be sadly missed by his sons-in -law Cormac and Steven, doting grandchildren Fiadh and Iarlaith, brother Séamus, sister Noeleen and his dear extended families and friends. Predeceased by his parents James and Molly, brothers Ronan, Gerard, Colm and Ciarán.

The death has occurred of Patrick (Paddy) Fearon of St. Michael's Terrace, Carlingford, and formerly Mountbagnal, Dundalk, Co Louth

In his 100th year, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his beloved wife Bridie, sons Thomas and John, parents Thomas and Annie, sisters Theresa, May and Nell and brother Joe. Very deeply regretted by his son Gerry and daughter Anne (Marks), his daughter-in-law Deirdre, son-in-law Dermot Marks, grandchildren Ciaran, Aidan, Fiona, Ciara and Thomas, great-grandchildren Luca, Daniel, Lee, Theo, Elaya and baby Cúan, brother-in-law Gabriel, sisters-in-law Cissie and Joan, and all his nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

The death has occurred of Claire Moore (née Murphy) of Rosfaraghan, Ferbane, Co Offaly and late of Templetown, Cooley, Co Louth

On February 20 2026, peacefully with her family, in the kind and loving care of the staff at Ferbane Nursing Home. Predeceased by her beloved husband Michael, parents Henry and Mary Kate Murphy, sisters, Catherine, Teresa (Teasie), Alice, Vera, and Rosaleen, brothers John and Peadar.

Claire will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her loving sons Niall and Declan, granddaughter Anastasia, daughter-in-law Lelia, sisters-in-law Mary, Sr. Bridget (St. Joseph of Cluny), Brigid and Maura nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends, especially Mary Grace.

Reposing at Grennan's Funeral Home, Ferbane, on Monday from 5.30pm to 7pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday (Feb. 24th) in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ferbane at 11am. Burial afterwards in Kilrehan Cemetery. House private, please.

The death has occurred of Nancy Farrell (née Carroll) of Mullenstown, Ardee, Co Louth

Peacefully, in her 80th year following a short illness and surrounded by her family at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda on Friday 20 February 2026. Predeceased by her daughter Glenda, her parents and her brothers and sisters.

She will be sadly missed by her much loved and devoted family Linda (Mark), Paul (Nicola), Tracey, husband Larry, her cherished grandchildren Damien, Dane, Chloe, Sophia, Jamie, Liam and Grace, her sister Chris, sisters-in-law Geraldine and Mary, brothers-in-law Declan and Gerry, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours, special friends Agnes and Mary, and many many more good friends.

Reposing at Finlay's Funeral Home, Tierney Street, Ardee on Monday from 3pm to 7pm. Removal on Tuesday leaving Finlay's Funeral Home at 9:45am on foot to the Church of the Nativity of Our Lady, Ardee arriving for 10am funeral mass. Burial afterwards in Ballapousta Cemetery. Funeral home private on Tuesday morning, please. Family flowers only, please. Donations if desired to the Palliative Care Unit, Lourdes Hospital Drogheda.

The death has occurred of Deirdre Lynn of Point Road, Dundalk, Co Louth

Peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff at Bon Secours, following an illness borne with great dignity, courage and determination. Predeceased by her father George, her adored mother Cecelia, her brothers Brendan, Tom and Eamon and her sister Teresa.

Deirdre will be forever loved and dearly missed by her heartbroken girls Linda, Ruth, Susan and Ceara, grandchildren Megan, Matthew, Ethan, Andrew, Tom, Georgia and Sam, brothers, sons-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Reposing at her daughter Ruth’s home, St. Helena’s Terrace on Monday from 3pm-8pm. Removal on Tuesday at 10.30am, proceeding on foot to St. Joseph’s Redemptorist Church, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Enquiries to Quinn’s Funeral Homes on 042 9334521.
