Louth County Council Library Service will celebrate Ireland Reads Day this Saturday, February 28th.

This Healthy Ireland at Your Library programme, celebrates and promotes the many benefits of reading for wellbeing and enjoyment.

The theme is ‘Get Lost in a Good Book’, and Louth County Council Library Service are inviting everyone in County Louth to take part.

Exciting events are planned for all ages to celebrate reading, books, and literature.

Dundalk Library are hosting an Ireland Reads Day event ‘An audience with local author Nicola Pierce’ in Dundalk Library at 11am on Saturday, Febraury 28th.

Local Ireland Reads ambassador Nicola will give a talk on her life as an author and discuss her latest book ‘Great Irish Wives’ which won History Book of the Year at the ‘An Post Irish Book Awards’ recently.
