The death has occurred of Ciarán (Skinny) Bond of Avenue Road and formerly of Muirhevnamor, Dundalk, Co Louth

Unexpectedly, but peacefully at his home on Saturday 28 February 2026. Predeceased by his dad Pat, brother James and sister Eileen. Ciarán will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his daughters Amy and Ciara and their mother Michelle, his heartbroken mam Geraldine (née Browne) brothers Aidan and Anthony, sister Geraldine, his partner and dear friend Catherine McDermott, his adored grandchildren Sophia and Nicole, uncles, aunts, extended family relatives and all his wonderful friends.

Reposing at his home on the Avenue Road from 2pm to 8pm on both Tuesday and Wednesday. House private at all other times. Removal on Thursday morning driving to his family's residence in Villas Two, Muirhevnamor for 10.40am, then proceeding on foot to The Church of The Holy Family arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 o'clock, followed by burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery Dundalk. 

House private on Thursday morning by request. Family Flowers Only, Donations please to Cara Cancer Support Centre. Enquiries to Shevlin’s Funeral Home.

The death has occurred of Pat (Patrick) Kearney of Ballintra, Inniskeen, Co Monaghan / Inniskeen, Co Louth

On 1 March 2026, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his loving parents Alice and Patrick, and his grandson Michael, brothers in law Patsy Jackson, Patsy O Neill, Joe Lennon, Leo Mackle, Peter, Owen and Tom Smyth, sisters in law Julia Kearney, Eileen and Bridie Smyth.

Beloved husband of Rosaleen and loving father of Therese, Niall (Gwen) and David (Elaine). Very sadly missed by his loving wife and family, his adored grandchildren Conor, Timmy, Daniel, Laura, Ben, Naoise, Senan and Conan, his sisters Kitty, Mary, Ann, Briege and Dympna, his brothers Matthew and Owen, sister-in-law Alice, Mary U.S.A. and Kathleen McElroy, brothers-in-law Jim O Neill, Eugene McElroy, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his residence on Monday 2nd March, from 2 until 8pm and Tuesday 3rd March from 2.00pm to 7.00pm. Removal on Wednesday morning at 12.30am to Mary Mother of Mercy Church, Inniskeen, arriving for 1.00pm Funeral Mass, followed by burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to a charity of your choice.

The death has occurred of Patrick Hoey of Toberona Cottages, Dundalk, Co Louth

Peacefully, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital on Monday 2 March 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Cyril and Phyllis. Beloved and dear brother of Una, Joe, Gerard, Cyril and Rosemary. Patrick will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his sisters, brothers, brothers-in-law Gary and Matty, sisters-in-law Mathilda and Isabel, nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, cousins, extended family relatives, wonderful neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his home, Toberona Cottages on Tuesday afternoon from 2pm to 8pm. Removal on Wednesday morning at 10.45am on foot to St. Joseph's Church, Castletown, Fatima arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 o'clock. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Enquiries to Shevlin’s Funeral Home.

The death has occurred of Brian Campbell of Haliday Mill, Quay Street, Dundalk and Gort na Glaise, Blackrock, Co Louth

Suddenly on 28 February, 2026. Brian will be forever loved and deeply missed by his heartbroken parents Sean and Margaret (née Coleman), brother Eamon, sister Laura, nephews Ryan and Lee, his extended family, uncles, aunts, cousins, neighbours and a wide circle of friends whose lives were brightened by his kindness, generosity and gentle spirit.

Reposing at his home in Gort na Glaise, from 4pm until 8pm on Thursday. Removal on Friday from his home to Dardistown Crematorium,  arriving for Service at 2pm. House private at all other times. All enquiries to Oisin and Rosemary Rogers, McGeoughs Funerals, Jocelyn Street, Dundalk.

The death has occurred of Briege Hughes (née Quigley) of Newtownbalregan, Castletown, Dundalk, Co Louth

On Tuesday 2 March 2026, after excellent care at Silverstream Dundalk Care Home. Predeceased by her loving husband Frank and sons David and James, parents James and Rose Quigley. Deeply regretted by her daughter Maria, sons Philip, Niall and Mark, sisters Anne and Fanchea, brothers Tom and Hugh, grandchildren Lara, Aodhán, Ciara, Clóighí and Caití and their parents Leyla, Joe and Shauna, her nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family and friends. 

Reposing at her home in Newtownbalregan, from 2pm-8pm on Wednesday 4 March. Removal on Thursday to the Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Brid-a-Crin, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Enquiries to Quinn's Funeral Homes.
