May they rest in peace

The death has occurred of Matthew (“Matt the Ratt”) O’Connor of Fatima Court and St. Nicholas Avenue, Dundalk, Co Louth

Peacefully, surrounded by his loving sons and brothers & sisters in the exceptional care of the staff at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Predeceased by his beloved parents, Kathleen & Mick and sons Ciaran & Sean. 

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sons and their partners: Mark (Lorraine), Niall (Mary), Colin (Geraldine), Matthew (Jess), and Dáithí (Laura), and by their mother Kay; his adored eighteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, brothers Michael, Dessie, Ken and Eamon, sisters Helen and Gráinne; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at Dixons Funeral Home, Maxwell Row, Bridge Street, Dundalk, on Wednesday 4 March from 3pm to 8pm. Removal on Thursday morning, walking to St. Nicholas’ Church, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Thereafter driving to St. Patrick's Cemetery for burial.

The death has occurred of Jack (Gerard) Reilly of White Rath, Castlebellingham, Co Louth

Peacefully, on 27 February, while in the tender and devoted care of the staff at a nursing home in Tara Winthrop Swords, surrounded by the love and support of his family. Beloved husband of the late Briege (née Neary) (January 2020), cherished father of Linda, Danny and Joanne, and loved grandad to Steven, Vicky, Karen and Ella Rose and sister of Tish (UK).

He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by his heartbroken daughters, son, sons-in-law Paul Nulty and Anthony Murphy, grandchildren, sister, extended family, neighbours and many friends whose lives were brightened by his kindness, gentle nature and steady presence.

Reposing at his daughter Linda Nulty home Drumleck, Castlebellingham from 3pm and 8pm on Wednesday. Removal on Thursday morning to St Peter's Church, Dromiskin via White Rath, arriving for Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Dromiskin Cemetery. All enquires to Oisin and Rosemary Rogers, McGeoughs Funerals.
