May they rest in peace

The death has occurred of Martin Whately of Riverstown, Ardee, Co Louth

Unexpectedly at his home on Monday 16 March 2026. Predeceased by his wife Kathryn, parents Bridget and William, sister Elizabeth. He will be sadly missed by his much loved and devoted family, children Karen, Paul, Mark, Claire and David, his cherished grandchildren Cian, Sam, Finn, Joe, Beth, Martin and Hazel, daughters-in-law Ciara and Shauna, his sister Mary, brothers John and Brendan, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and good friends.

Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to the Ardee Day Care Centre. Funeral arrangements later.

The death has occurred of Patrick Kelly of Meadow Grove, Dundalk, Co Louth and formerly Measc Green, Coolock, Dublin 5

Peacefully, in the dedicated care of the staff of Blackrock Abbey Nursing Home. Predeceased by his parents Frank (Billy) and Maura, sister Frankie McAnulla and brother-in-law Michael (Mick) McAnulla. He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing wife Doreen (née Little), sons and daughter Dermot, Claire, Paul and David, son-in-law Pearse, daughters-in-law Kelane, Andrea and Lucy, grandchildren, brothers Dermot and Billy, sisters-in-law Jackie and Philomena, nieces, nephews, his family circle, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at his home on Tuesday from 4pm-8pm. House private at all other times. Removal on Wednesday at 10.30am, proceeding on foot to St. Joseph’s Redemptorist Church, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Enquiries to Quinn’s Funeral Homes.
