The death has occurred of Annette Gonnelly (née Gray) of Meadow Grove, Dundalk, Co Louth

On Monday 23 of March 2026, in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her beloved husband Gerard (October 2025), son Anthony, parents James and Winifred, brothers Wilfie, Ronnie and James (In infancy), and sisters Una, Mona and Joan (In infancy). Cherished and adored mother of Jim, Gerard, Teresa and Bernard.

Annette will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her sons, daughter, sons-in-law Darren and Paddy, daughters-in-law Julie, Anita, Cindy and Irene, her treasured grandchildren Leona, Hannah, Jane, Bea, Anthony, Natasha, Donna, Séamus, Gemma, Nicola, Pádraig, Turlough, Liam, Áine and Calvin, her great-grandchildren, sisters Carrie Tinson (Canada), Phyllis Mulligan and Frances Flynn, brothers-in-law Charlie, Brendan and Brian, sisters-in-law Mary, Kathleen and Margaret, dear friend Clodagh, as well as her nephews, nieces, extended family, and all her wonderful neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her home, Meadow Grove on Wednesday and Thursday from 1pm to 9pm. Removal on Friday morning at 10.40am on foot to St. Joseph’s Redemptorist Church arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Enquiries to Shevlin’s Funeral Home.
