May they rest in peace

The death has occurred of Josie Daly of 61 Claddagh Park, Tom Bellew Avenue, Dundalk, Co Louth

Peacefully, at home, in the dedicated care of her family. Predeceased by her daughter Lydia, partner Mick, parents Margaret and Lawrence Levins and sisters Rita and Rose. Beloved mother of Paula, Ramona, Kevin, Kim and Liam.

Josie will be sadly missed by her heartbroken daughters and sons, son-in-law Christy, daughters-in-law Caroline and Jordan, grandchildren Jodie, Abbi, Ella, Nathan, Adam, Saoirse, Kellie, Sophie, MacKenzie, Kyren and Kayce, sisters Kitty, Marion and Dolores, brother Jim, nieces, nephews and friends.

Reposing at her home on Tuesday 31 March from 12 noon and on Wednesday 1 April, from 12 noon until 8pm. Removal on Thursday at 1.15pm to Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan, arriving for Service of Farewell at 3pm. House strictly private on Thursday please. Enquiries to Quinn’s Funeral Homes.

The death has occurred of Katrina Loughran (née O’Rourke) of Kincora Terrace, Carrick Rd, Dundalk, Co Louth

Peacefully on 29 March 2026, while in the tender and devoted care of the staff at the Mater Private Hospital, surrounded by the love and support of her family. Beloved wife of the late Pat (March 2009), cherished mother of Róisín (Dundalk), Paddy (Dublin) and the late Mary, much-loved nana to Mary-Anne, Ted, Alice, Max, Geordan, Sarah and Zoe and sister of Jacinta, Pat, Kevin the late Peter and Carmel.

She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by her heartbroken daughter, son, grandchildren, sister, son-in-law Kevin, daughter-in-law Miriam, extended family, neighbours and many friends whose lives were enriched by her kindness, warmth and gentle presence.

Reposing at McGeoughs Funeral Home, Jocelyn Street, Dundalk, from 3pm until 7pm on Tuesday. House private at all times. Removal on Wednesday morning at 10.45am from her Home to Church of Holy Redeemer, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. All enquiries to Oisin and Rosemary Rogers McGeoughs Funerals.
