Louth County Council is urging residents to collect sandbags today ahead of a High Tide Advisory issued by Met Éireann for Saturday, 4th April, as Storm Dave and spring tides may cause localised flooding.
Ireland is bracing for severe weather conditions as Storm Dave is expected to sweep across the country over the upcoming Easter weekend, bringing strong winds, heavy rain and potential disruption.
According to Met Éireann, the approaching system is expected to track close to Ireland, with the worst impacts likely to be felt in coastal counties.
