Organisers of the annual Dundalk Show say that preparations for the 2026 Dundalk Show are well underway, with the 2026 show taking place on Sunday 14 June in the tranquil settings of Bellurgan Park, and already there is plenty of interest from exhibitors and traders.
As usual there will be plenty to look forward to with classes for Children, Youth, Lego, Home Industries, Horticulture, Horses and Ponies, Cattle, Sheep, Dogs, Poultry and Best Dressed competitions.
This year the Horse section will feature Working Hunter Classes and the Sheep section has some All Ireland and North East Championships. Throughout the various sections there will also be Qualifiers which result in winners going on to All Ireland Championships at other Shows.
Dundalk Show always provides plenty of entertainment throughout the day and there will be plenty happening at this year’s Show. Music will be provided by the Ardee Concert Band and Mna Mna and there will be a Jiving competition with music by Tumbleweed.
There is plenty of free entertainment to keep youngsters amused with Fred the Party Professor and his Professor’s Circus Tent, Lislin Miniatures and funfair rides.

Agri-Kids will be there with a strong focus on Farm Safety and Dundalk Show is delighted to welcome the Irish Patchwork Society who will have a fabulous display and Dundalk Wool Circle who are affiliated to the Irish Guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers.
This is just a taste of what is to come and there will be plenty more announcements in due course. The planning continues and Dundalk Show Society looks forward to seeing everyone on Sunday June 14th.
