Dundalk promoter shortlisted for IMRO Live Music Awards 2026

The IMRO Live Music Awards 2026 take place at the Guinness Storehouse on 21 April

Louth is set to be well represented at the IMRO Live Music Awards 2026, with a Dundalk promoter making the shortlist for Live Music Promoter of the Year; two local festivals shortlisted for the Live Music Festival of the Year – Small category, with one of them also shortlisted for Festival Technical Crew of the Year; and a Dundalk venue shortlisted for two separate awards.

The IMRO Live Music Awards recognise the venues, festivals and promoters that sustain Ireland’s live music scene, with this year’s shortlist reflecting the strength and diversity of talent across the country.

The awards will take place at the Guinness Storehouse on 21st April, hosted by Tom Dunne and Rachel Mae Hannon, with performances from Ahmed With Love, BABYRAT, Scullion and a surprise guest.

This year, IMRO has teamed up with The Louise Duffy Show on RTÉ Radio 1 to reward regional winners with a live outside broadcast from their venue.

Those shortlisted in Louth for awards are as follows:

Live Music Promoter of the Year - Shenanigans Promotions, run by Teresa McCabe

Live Music Festival of the Year – Small - 

  • Aurfest Music & Comedy Festival
  • Vantastival Music Festival 

Festival Technical Crew of the Year (In partnership with Audoo) -

  • Aurfest Music & Comedy Festival 

Venue Technical Crew of the Year (In partnership with Audoo) -   

  • The Spirit Store 

Live Music Venue of the Year – Leinster (Excluding Dublin) -

  • The Spirit Store

IMRO members decide the category winners, while the public is invited to vote for the Overall Winner in partnership with Hot Press here
