Fairy Tree Winery in Dunleer

When we think of wine in Ireland, we think of it being grown and produced in some exotic locations. You may be surprised to learn that wine production in Ireland is very much on the rise.

One such offering comes to us from County Louth. Fairy Trees wine comes from a County Louth vineyard and has produced award-winning wine. The secret is French vines and Irish soil, a winning combination

The winery, in Dunleer, was founded in 2020 by the Laclie family, whose French/Irish origins inspired the winery's name. The master winemaker is Bertrand (Bert) Laclie.

A vineyard experience typically associated with destinations abroad is now much closer than many expect.
