The death has occurred of James Agnew of Lannet, Killanny, Co Louth and and formerly of Meadow Grove, Dundalk, Co Louth
Peacefully, on Monday, 22 April 2026 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital surrounded by his loving family. James, beloved husband of Margaret (née Boylan), and dear dad of Joanne, Colin, David and Seamus. Predeceased by his parents James and Bridget, brother Gerard, sister Fidelma.
James will be sadly missed by his wife, daughter, sons, sister Marion, son-in-law Ray, daughters-in-law Avril, Joanne and Laura, his adored grandchildren Finn, Oisin, Caolan, Ellen, Naoise, Sadie, Rosie and James, brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at his home in Killanny, on Wednesday from 12 noon to 8pm. Removal on Thursday morning at 10.15am to Meadow Grove, Dundalk for 10.45am, then proceeding on foot to St. Joseph's Redemptorist Church arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 o' clock followed by burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Dundalk. Family Flowers Only, Donations if desired to a charity of your choice. Enquiries to Shevlin’s Funeral Home.

The death has occurred of Chris (Christina) Coburn (née McGee) of Cedar Lodge, Red Barns Road, Dundalk, Co Louth
Peacefully at home, surrounded by her devoted and loving family. Chris will be sadly missed and cherished with love by her wonderful daughters Louise, Sharon and Michelle. Pre-deceased by her adored husband Gerry, her parents Edward and Margaret, her sister Mary, and her brothers Pat, Ted and Phil.
Chris will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters, sons-in-law Martin (Power) and Shaun (Esterhuizen), treasured grandchildren Richie, Sophie and Dylan, who brought her immense joy and happiness, sisters Margaret, Patricia, Kathleen and Marian, brothers Martin, Christy and Matt, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing at her home on Thursday between 2 o’clock and 8 o’clock. Removal on Friday morning at 10.40, driving to St. Joseph’s Redemptorists Church, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock. Thereafter to St. Patrick’s Cemetery. House private at all other times. Arrangements entrusted to Niall E. Kehoe, Dixons Funeral Home.
