Jam-packed lineup in Dundalk's Toales this week

Porter Boys Social Club will play Toales on Friday night

There is plenty of live music happening this week in Toales Live Venue in Dundalk.

Thursday 23rd April - Fireside Sessions presents The Two Five Ones + Tony Smith - Show Starts 9pm - Free admission.

Toales’ Fireside Sessions returns this week, bringing its trademark laid-back charm and intimate atmosphere back to Dundalk for another night of quality live music.

Headlining are The Two Five Ones, the slick pairing of Dara MacGabhann (vocals) and Andy Hogg (guitar).

Drawing on jazz, blues and folk, their set drifts through the golden era of American song—from the 1920s through the 1950s—with nods to legends like Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, The Ink Spots and Bonnie Raitt, alongside their own finely crafted originals.

Opening duties fall to Tony Smith, whose raw, soulful style sets the perfect tone for the evening.

Free in, music from 9pm—settle in at the virtual fireside in Toales for a night of smooth sounds and easy company.

Friday 24th April - Dundalk Music Collective presents Porter Boys Social Club + Roisin Ward Morrow - Doors 8pm - Admission €8.

Dundalk Music Collective keeps the momentum going with another lively night in Toales, as Porter Boys Social Club headline alongside local standout Róisín Ward Morrow.

With doors at 8pm and just €8 in, it’s another no-frills, all-heart showcase keeping the town’s original scene ticking.

Porter Boys Social Club arrive with a growing reputation—and a story to match. Allegedly the result of a rogue South Monaghan experiment to revive the Celtic Tiger, the band instead leaned into chaos, pints and pure mischief.

The result? A folk-punk outfit on a mission to make ballads loud, punk catchy, and debauchery fashionable again.

Expect grit, swagger, sharp humour and big choruses built for shouting back.

Support comes from Róisín Ward Morrow, the Co. Louth fiddle player and folk singer blending tradition with a modern edge.

A Conservatoire-trained musician with international experience, she brings a more refined but equally captivating energy to the bill.

Another strong night at Toales, powered by the Dundalk Music Collective—where the volume’s up and the pretence is left at the door.

Doors 8pm. €8 entry.

Saturday 25th April - Ghosts of War (Slayer Tribute) - Doors 8pm - Admission €15

Dundalk metalheads, brace yourselves for GHOSTS OF WAR as they tear into Toales Rock Bar and Live Venue, Dundalk, on Saturday 25 April, with doors at 8 PM.

Dublin’s fiercest Slayer tribute return to Toales to unleash an all-out thrash assault worthy of the titans of thrash metal themselves.

Fans can expect a blistering, full-throttle set packed with classics from across Slayer’s twelve-album legacy — every riff, every roar, every breakneck tempo delivered with the precision and ferocity that make Ghosts of War a must-see for diehards.

Pair that with Toales’ thunderous sound and famously metal-ready atmosphere, and you’re looking at a night built for headbanging, pit anthems, and pure chaos.

Tickets are on sale now at Eventbrite — grab yours now and get ready for neck-wrecking speed, volume, and energy the way Slayer intended.
