Dundalk's Creative Spark holds its Christmas Open Day next weekend
Creative Spark is having a Christmas Open Day for the community on Saturday 10 December from 2 – 5pm. It will be an afternoon of free creative fun for all the family and a chance to look around the building.
A firm favourite with Dundalk families, the free family fun day makes a welcome return this year. Mark Creative Spark's 10th anniversary with arts, crafts and creative activities, this is a date to pin in the diary!
The Print Studio will be open for anyone who wants to call in and get a taste of all things print, with Silkscreen printing demonstrations on the day. Silkscreen printing for beginners, a five-week course that is a great opportunity to learn the art of screen printing. Explore and learn screen printing, both paper and fabric printing. With courses launching in January 2023, this is a perfect opportunity to see if this course is right for you.
The Creative Spark Enterprise FabLab will have a temporary setup for Open Day giving demonstrations and insights into what the FabLab has in store for 2023. Whether you’re an engineer, artist or just curious about CNC machines, Laser Cutters, 3d Printers or prototyping, the FabLab will have a range of courses also launching in 2023.
Also joining on the day will be Shauna Swords with Clayotic Christmas decorations and Fionnula Clarke who will lead a workshop making Christmas swags.
Find out about upcoming courses, meet the community and enjoy hot drinks and mince pies in Creative Spark in Muirhevnamor.
