Dundalk gardai investigate as handbag is stolen from a car in the town

Gardaí in Dundalk are investigating a theft from a vehicle that occurred at approximately 8pm on Wednesday, 30th November on the Newry Road in Dundalk.

It is believed a person was approached by a male who then took a handbag from the front seat of the car.

The suspect then ran towards a black car which drove off in the direction of Newry.

No arrests have been made at this stage of this ongoing investigation.

Gardai are urging anyone with information or anyone who witnessed any unusual activity in the area at the time to contact Dundalk Garda Station on 042 938 8416.
