Hanley Energy has announced 225 new jobs for North East with expansion of Dundalk plant
Hanley Energy, a power management services firm with a facility in Dundalk, has announced today that it will be increasing its workforce in the North East with 225 new jobs, in a significant expansion of its operations in Ireland.
Making the announcement today, the company said it is "thrilled to announce a significant expansion of our operations in Ireland, including a new manufacturing facility in Monaghan and large development of our existing site in Dundalk, Co. Louth."
Hanley are increasing the operation in Dundalk to meet the increasing demand for installation and service of its equipment which serves the growing critical power market and delivers on the high demand for power, connectivity and data.
The news of the company's expansion has been welcomed by Louth based, Senator Erin McGreehan, who said that, “this is a very welcome development for Dundalk and indeed the wider county. Hanley is already a fantastic employer in the area and this expansion is a great boost for the area."
She continued, “The Hanley roles will include highly skilled engineers across electrical, mechanical and controls disciplines, general operatives and production staff. It will also present many apprenticeship opportunities for younger people.
“Hanley Energy is an innovative company and global leader in energy. The energy sector has never been more important to Ireland so I am truly delighted to see this expansion and would like to congratulate Hanley on the ambition and vision to date and wish them every success with the expansion."
Senator McGreehan added, “This is great for Louth. Hanley will play an important part in helping us realise our low carbon transition all the while bringing employment to the region."
