in aid of the Maria Goretti Foundation and Dundalk Women’s Aid
There was a wonderful response to the Mizu Santa Pressie Dash, which started and finished at Marshes Shopping Centre on Sunday 4 December.
The event, in aid of the Maria Goretti Foundation and Dundalk Women’s Aid, saw 150 runners and walkers take part, many in festive dress.
As well as optional donations, 150 presents for children aged 1-14 were received for local charities. Participants on the 5K route also honoured the memory of late popular local woman, Josephine Hearty.
The Mizu Santa Pressie Dash was supported by Setanta Triathlon Club.
“We are delighted the Mizu Santa Pressie Dash proved such a success and know it will help deserving people,” said centre manager, Sean Farrell.
