The De La Salle “De La Dip” in aid of St Vincent de Paul took place at Carlingford Pier last Wednesday 7 December. Despite the cold conditions, 62 students and five teachers headed on the buses to the pier in Carlingford to take the plunge.

The De la Dip has been taking place since 2005 and is organised by teacher Ms Cara Mc Adam. For the last number of years all proceeds have been donated to St Vincent de Paul. This year's event has raised €3200 so far. De La Salle school says it is very grateful for the generosity of the families and friends of its students.
