A Community Christmas Remembrance Gathering took place at the Pumping Station Fairy Garden at Pearse Park in Dundalk on Saturday evening. The organisers said on Facebook that “it was fantastic to see all our neighbours, ex-residents and also to welcome so many new faces that have recently moved to the area, including several Ukrainian families uprooted from their past home.“
The evening saw Christmas music played, carols sung, a Fairy Shop with Magical Reindeer Food, kids leaving their Santa letters in the very special North Pole Postbox, as well as a visit from Santa himself! The organisers said they wish to thank everyone who helped, supported the event and generously donated.
