As people rip open Valentine’s Day cards a psychic who Kim Kardashian says is “exceptionally gifted” sees a year of peaks and troughs ahead for romance

As people all over the world rip open Valentine’s Day cards from secret admirers, a psychic to stars like Kim Kardashian who calls her the “most exceptionally gifted clairvoyant” she has ever met sees a year of peaks and troughs ahead for romance.

Jayne Wallace, 54, realised by the age of six that she had a sixth sense enabling her to see future events,  although she only started using her gift to help others after her mum Jean Wallace’s death from a heart attack, aged 54, in 1999, when she began speaking to her in the afterlife.

Now, without naming names, Jayne, who lives in Epping, Essex, with her warehouse worker partner Lee Ryan, 54, predicts  big things this year for a British ballad-singing belle, saying: “I can see her having a baby this year and she will do better than ever in her music.”

She added: “And 2023 will bring an engagement.

“She has been through a period where she has really judged herself and autumn brings new beginnings.”

Launching Psychic Sisters in 2006 – a shop within London’s famous Selfridges department store where she leads a team of readers and healers – Jayne’s famous clients have included Hollywood A-lister Kate Hudson, who said she had a “great reading.”

Also popular with artist Tracey Emin and actor Leslie Mann, she says while celebrities face the added pressure of dating in the spotlight, they share the same insecurities as the rest of us when it comes to love.

She said: “A lot of celebrities have come to me for relationship advice when they’re going through hell in love. But I can help them to know whether they need to walk away or stay strong.

“They are under so much pressure because they are under the magnifying glass.”

She added: “We all have some of the same struggles though. Even celebrities who have it all are looking for the same things we all are.

“People always come to psychics when they are searching for their special someone. Everyone  – not just celebrities – is looking for love.”

Jayne started having premonitions about future events when she was at primary school, when she “saw” the death of a classmate’s dad.

Astonished by the strength of her feelings and too young to know how to handle the information, she told her friend that she could sense her dad had passed away.

Of course, the little girl left in tears, but the following day Jayne found out he had died in a car accident.

She said: “It was incredibly sad.”

She added: “That was when I realised I had this  amazing awareness.

“We are all quite innocent as children, so I thought it was normal back then and  part of everyday life. I didn’t realise that being able to predict events was the exception, not the norm, but it’s something I’ve always done.”

She says when she was just six she would speak to spirits – something adults dismissed as her “having imaginary friends.”

She said: “Ever since I was a child I could sense and see things, so I was always intuitive from very young.

“From six or seven, I was aware of different energies and people thought I had imaginary friends.”

As she grew up, Jayne says she learned how to “turn off” her psychic powers, so she could lead a normal life.

But, sometimes, she could not stop herself from seeing things and recalls telling a man in a video shop in Essex not to bet on a horse, only for it to end up hurting its leg.

Then, when her mum passed away, she began to tap into her gift, so she could communicate with her in the afterlife, saying: “It was always a part of me.

“I had a feeling that I always knew this was what I had to do in my life.”

She added: “But when my mum passed away, I realised I had to connect to her and I stepped into doing this more and more.

“Realising how much I wanted to communicate with her made me realise that other people would  want to do this as well.”

Working full-time as a clairvoyant from 2001, before she knew it she was jetting around the world from the USA to Dubai and Hong Kong, helping people by using her psychic gift.

Now a trusted clairvoyant to the rich and famous, she sees romance in the air for the year ahead.

With people emerging from the pandemic hot to trot, she says many hopeless romantics will find meaningful relationships, while successful relationships that survived the stress piled on by lockdowns and uncertainty will only get stronger in 2022.

She said: “In 2022, people will be much happier.”

She added: “This year is going to be a lot easier, as many people are so hopeful. People want to be more independent, which is a good thing.

“I can see people becoming more open. But it’s about people finding balance.

“I think it’s going to be much more positive and there is going to be an emotional change and shift.”

She added: “Our eyes are more open than they ever have been.

“After the lockdowns we’re going to see so many relationships blooming and those who made it through the pandemic are going to be stronger than ever.”

A confidante to a mixture of famous and simply curious people who visit her at Psychic Sisters, where she charges £120 for a 30 minute reading, Jayne does her best to tell those looking for love what to expect. And for Valentine’s Day, they are offering a £25 love reading.

She said: “Lots of people want to settle down and start a family.

“And if they’re having issues, they’ll come to me or one of the psychics I work with, to see if their relationship is going anywhere.

“These readings can really affect people, because they are very emotional.”

She added: “Valentine’s Day this year is going to be incredible, as I think people will feel more loved as they value love more.

“Because of what the whole world has been through, people will realise just how important love is.”
