McLaren celebrates its F1 team’s 10th Constructors’ Championship victory with Artura Spider MCL39 Championship Edition

McLaren has revealed a limited-run version of its Artura Spider supercar to celebrate its F1 team’s 10th Constructors’ World Championship victory.

The MCL39 Championship Edition has been built by the firm’s bespoke ‘McLaren Special Operations’, which are responsible for creating some of the brand’s rarest and unique models.

The MCL39 features a hand-painted livery with a unique shade of Myan Orange with Onyx Black, while the car sits on gloss black 10-spoke Dynamo forged alloy wheels, Myan Orange brake calipers with black McLaren logos and special ‘10’ motifs located on the rear quarter panels.

Inside, there are unique ‘10’ motifs embossed into the car’s headrests, a Myan Orange 12 o’clock steering wheel marker with a ‘10’ detail motif, and every example will gain a custom plaque located on the centre console.

In addition, the carbon fibre extended sill finishers will be hand-signed by McLaren’s Formula One drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. Plus, all cars gain a Custom Track Record plaque in the luggage compartment, which lists the wins, poles and fastest laps secured by McLaren in the 2025 F1 season.

The car is powered by the same twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine, paired to an electric motor and 7.4kWh battery pack found in the standard Artura Spider. It produces a total of 690bhp and 720Nm of torque, while 60mph is dispatched in three seconds and the top speed is 205mph. McLaren claims the car can also travel distances of up to 21 miles on electric power.

Prices and UK availability has not been revealed at this stage, though it’s likely to carry a large premium over the standard car’s £221,500 price tag.
