Land Rover is celebrating 20 years of the Range Rover Sport with the ‘Twenty Edition.’
The Range Rover Sport was originally launched in 2005 as a performance-focused alternative to the standard Range Rover. Three generations on, and the Sport has become one of the marque’s best-selling models.
The Range Rover Sport Twenty Edition is available in a new shade of ‘Sanguinello Orange’ – inspired by the ‘Range Rover Stormer’ concept from 2004. Other colours available are Santorini Black and Ostuni White.
The car gains a Black Exterior Pack, which boasts ‘Twenty’ etching on the 23-inch gloss black alloy wheels, while customers can opt for Gloss Sparkle Silver wheels.
The interior is complemented by illuminated ‘Twenty ’-inscribed door sills and ‘Twenty’ written on the centre console. The seats feature Ebony Windsor leather upholstery found in the Range Rover Sport SV, and there are carbon fibre door inserts, centre console trim and a black suedecloth headlining.
Under the bonnet, the Twenty Edition features a plug-in hybrid setup, named ‘P550e’. It combines a 3.0-litre six-cylinder petrol engine with an electric motor and 38.2kWh battery pack to develop a combined 543bhp and can travel up to a claimed 71 miles on electric power.
Orders will open on August 12 with prices starting at £115,790, while deliveries will commence later in the year.
