Blake Lively’s co-star Brandon Sklenar watches Wrexham game with Ryan Reynolds

Wrexham co-owner Ryan Reynolds has taken his wife’s co-star Brandon Sklenar to watch his Welsh football team play.

Sklenar, who appeared in romantic drama It Ends With Us with Blake Lively, was in good spirits as he posed with fans at Wrexham’s football stadium on Saturday.

The US actor played Atlas Corrigan in the Colleen Hoover adaptation, in which Lively’s character Lily Bloom reconnects with her first love (Sklenar) against a backdrop of domestic violence.

Also at SToK Cae Ras as Wrexham face Cambridge United in the League One match was Green Day singer Billie Joe Armstrong.

Earlier this year Deadpool & Wolverine featured Green Day song Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life) and the band’s members dressed as the comic book characters on-stage during their tour.

Reynolds, who plays Deadpool in the box office hit, which co-stars Hugh Jackman and was released in the summer, co-owns Wrexham AFC with It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia creator Rob McElhenney.

Since they took over the club in 2020, Wrexham have clinched back-to-back promotions and attracted a worldwide fan-base, following the success of the FX docuseries Welcome To Wrexham.
